Office Furniture Fitters & Supervisors

Those employees who demonstrate positivity, productivity and aptitude are then placed on a further development programme. Some demonstrate an aptitude for office furniture fitting, others for on-site supervision or IT services. 

Office furniture fitters undergo an aptitude test during their training programme and those who enjoy this type of work are channeled into this line of work. Our trainer has each candidate strip and rebuild various items of office furniture including bench desking, sit/stand desks, reception desks, meeting booths and boardroom tables. Our trainer will ensure that our fitters and porters can do the basics easily with shelving of cabinets, putting castors on task chairs and mobile pedestals and also ganging together lockers and so on. We also run through the basics of unpacking furniture onsite, preparation of packaging for recycling and ensuring that sites are left clean and tidy following completion of our activities.Supervisory candidates undertake SSSTS training and practical product training across a number of industries including furniture installation, office removals and office fit-outs to facilitate taking the next step within our organisation.
